Every month immigrants move into apartments across our city to begin their new lives in America. Be some of the first to welcome them to our community by packing a Welcome Basket!

Cooking & Culture is a special offering for women’s groups and married couples on a case by case basis. This event allows them to enter the home of an immigrant, learn how to prepare a tasty dish from their country, share a meal, and hear their story. Tickets are $40 and meals are by registration. Cooking & Culture is not a scheduled volunteer offering but one that takes place as requested by members of local church partners.

Community Learning Opportunities (CLOs) are for volunteers and non-volunteers alike! Refuge CLOs are training events designed to help us grow in subjects related to loving and serving our refugee and immigrant neighbors.

In the midst of a challenging immigration environment, we invite you to “come alongside” believers from immigrant backgrounds. “Come alongside” events are designed to help Christians in Greater Louisville understand, honor, and partner with these fellow members of God’s family.
