*Classes meet year-round, except for a brief pause during the months of June and December.

Volunteer opportunities at our ESL sites include teaching, assistant teaching, childcare, registration & check-in, hospitality, and driving. After completing Refuge International's volunteer application process,* volunteers receive additional, specialized training in English instruction. Within the Refuge Network Of English Ministries, there are numerous ESL sites that  have regular need for volunteers willing to serve in teaching and non-teaching roles.  These ESL ministries are classroom-based and meet once a week for one and a half to two hours on the site of a partner church. No prior ESL teaching experience is necessary as teacher training is provided during the application process.
